Report all accidents to lifeguard. Complaints and Suggestions should be made to the Aquatics Director or the front desk.
The lifeguard has the authority to enforce these rules and to require those in violation to leave the pool.
No swimming without a lifeguard on duty. 

  • All swimmers must shower before entering the pool. 
  • No glass containers, food, drink, gum or smoking allowed in pool or shower area. 
  • No diving in water less than 9 feet deep. No flips off the side of the pool. No inwards or reverses off the diving board. 
  • No running or horseplay (i.e., pushing, dunking, or throwing people). 
  • Bathing suits are required; no cut-offs. If a swimmer is not wearing a swimsuit (T-shirt or undergarments) he or she will be asked to leave the pool area. 
  • Lap swimming is defined as continuous swimming. Lanes are for this purpose only. They are not to be used for play. Swimmers of any age may be lap swimmers. 
  • Kickboards, pull buoys, fins, and water fitness equipment are for instructional use and lap swimmers only. 
  • Mask and snorkels may be used by adults only. Children may use goggles covering only the eyes during open swim. 
  • Only US Coast Guard approved flotation devices are allowed during open swim. 
  • Circle swim etiquette must be used when more than 2 lap swimmers are in a lane. 
  • Youth under 10 years old must be accompanied and supervised by an adult 16 years of age or older.
  • The pool will close during lightning and thunderstorms. 
  • Anyone who has been ill, been recently injured, or who has open sores or a contagious skin disease may not enter the water. See an Aquatics staff member if unsure. 
  • Children still in diapers must have water proof diaper. 
  • Flotation devices are not allowed in the pool during normal business hours
